Comments Off on Danielle Cochran on Instagram: “Easy Beef Queso. We all have a dish that reminds us of our childhood. This queso is one of my top 5’s. My mom always made this dip for parties. It’s crazy how good this dip is and how easy it is to make. It’s perfect for entertaining.
I changed up the recipe a little to make it a little lighter. The main ingredient is Laura’s Lean Ground Beef. The beef is perfect for this dip, it adds a great flavor! And because it’s lean, this dip can be made in one pot.
Ingredients
1lb @lauras_lean Ground Beef
1/2 cup of water
1 cup refried beans
2 tbsp taco seasoning
1 tsp kosher salt
12oz shredded cheddar cheese, I used a dairy free
2 1/2 cups milk, I used a dairy free
*Tortilla Chips
Place a medium size stock pot over med heat. Add the water and ground beef. Cook until browned and the beef is broken up. Add the taco seasoning, refried beans and salt to the ground beef, stir well. Stir in the milk. Once it has heated up some add all of the cheese and turn the heat to low. Stir for 5-10 minutes until all melted. Enjoy!
